The Hips (HitsPerSecond) value allows the User to influence the way that Concrii determines the quickest search mode. Concrii assigns different Hips values to different operations (e.g. Search in an index). Concrii carries out the operation that offers the highest Hips value when searching and retrieving. The different factors allow for manual adjustment and performance tweaking.
